There are various secondary accounts of the life and family of Joshua Maud, with some inconsistencies and confusion. He married two women named Elizabeth, the second of whom had three husbands and migrated from Yorkshire to Delaware, so the confusion is at least understandable. The best available overview appears to me to be a transcription of a manuscript in the writing of John Fisher.2531
