John Perrot had a colorful personal and fraught political life, which is outlined in an interesting article in Wikipedia and another in The History of Parliament. The articles note that he is reported as an illegimate son of Henry VIII, that he was convicted of high treason and imprisoned in the Tower of London, and that he had at least four illegitimate children of his own.
