Mary Ann’s husband, William Linderman, was living in Union Township, Berks County in 1830,1540 so presumbably the couple was married in that area. This matches reports that her brother, Joseph, married Sarah Hoffman near there in 1835, both bride and groom residing in Union.209 It isn’t clear what exactly brought the Lloyds to that area.
In 1840, Mary Ann was living with her husband and three children in Pine Grove, Schuykill County,216 while her brother Samuel was reported to live and near Minersville, where her brother Henry reported being born. In 1850, she was living a few houses away from her brother Joseph in Union Township, Berks County.203
