Betty Campbell writes, “... Earle’s first wife, Kathryn, was not a housewife type.  Her mother lived with them during the whole marriage and tended to the cooking and cleaning.  Kathryn was accomplished, I gather.  She belonged to the Eastern Star and she had a group of Rainbow girls...  She died of cancer.  They had no children.”931
