Notes for Charles Clayton
In 1830, Charles was in Nelson County, about 28 years old. On one side of him was James Clayton, in the age 30-40 group. On the other side was John Clayton, age 40-50, and a short distance away was William Clayton, age 30-40. These last two are presumably his brothers. On the next page of the census are a number of Hagan families.158
